are there something wrong with multi-thread in Dolphin?

Just wonder if there's some spots in Dolphin code that the thread have to wait the other thread to finish task and the result is something stall the cpu.As everyone notice there not much different of speed in SC and DC maybe something like 20% speedup. and I want to know if anyone know how to investigate which function has to wait .any tools available ? I just want to try investigate and make it sequenciel to see the result.
