RE: Resident Evil Official Thread - Reborn
I've been using r4640 for a while for RE games and the sound was already broken then. I was using r4460 before that and I can't remember but I think it was broken then too.

<rant>
I hate to complain, but lately for RE games the lack of attention sucks. Zombies have had missing arms and other textures since r4656 and the sound has been f***ing broken forever. It seems that if it's not SSBB, NSMB or MKWii or something to do with wiimote it doesn't get any f***ing attention.

RE: Resident Evil Official Thread - Reborn
Is someone able to run RE0 on higher than 15-20 fps? I've tried everything to boost the fps higher than 15-20 fps (tried older builds, differents setups, you name it).

Oh and Re1 Was running perfectly all the way through.

RE1 only runs perfectly (FPS-wise) on the Intel builds for me, on any other version it runs like crap the moment you enter the main hall, or other areas with special effects. Tyrant battle was running at 15 FPS. Apparently older revisions were able to run RE1 fine with no problems, but new versions screwed something up. So it's pure luck that the Intel version does seem to work. I'm getting constant 30 FPS with that one.

Now, if only the BGM can get fixed, then it really is perfect.

As for RE0: Haven't tried it yet, will test it later and see how it goes.

Those slowdowns only ever happen if you have Copy EFB to Ram enabled, change it to Copy EFB to Texture and you won't have these slowdowns unless your PC is crap and can't handle running the game full speed regardless.

With Copy EFB to Texture enabled I get full speed consistently throughout the game, the main hall, outdoor areas, graveyard, and lab are all full speed for me. The Copy EFB to Texture option was likely selected by default on the Intel builds, that's why you don't get any slowdown.

I've compared all builds and not one build runs any faster than the other, not even the Intel builds. VS2008 can already compile builds with all the necessary optimizations that are hard coded into the emulator.

RE: Resident Evil Official Thread - Reborn
Remake (GC) runs almost perfect on my Core 2 2,66 Ghz and 8800 GT and W7 x64.
I got 30 fps everywhere except of scenes with animated BG, where I got playable 20 fps. The fps never drops below 20 on my 'slow' CPU.

I assume that the music is still not working? I get strange sounds in save rooms and so on.
