About the game (IGN.com)
Most Sonic the Hedgehog games are specifically for Sega related platforms but Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is an original game made for the Nintendo GameCube. Sonic and crew need to stop Dr. Eggman from his nasty tricks again. There's new characters brought into the Sonic universe! A mysterious dark hedgehog called Shadow and a bat named Rouge. The Sonic Adventure 2 Battle has been enhanced with graphics, doubling the framerate and now is set as a multiplayer system.

Emulation Status & Speed
    Issues:
  • None

    Emulation Speed
  • It runs very fast even on relatively slow CPU's. For instance, my laptop has a 2x1,6Ghz CPU, and the game runs at almost full speed on it!

Additional Information
The game is fully supported and playable, it runs at full speed with no problems.

RE: [GC] Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
working exactly like on real gamecube! (yes... the controller issue was on real gamecube too! -i smashed 2 or 3 controllers against the wall on this game! Tongue)
now i have 79 emblems already...
when i need to have a good framerate I disable 1 core so the other 3 have more L3 cache and overclock to 3.8Ghz CPU, 2.6Ghz HTlink (more ram-cpu bandwith) and 2.6Ghz Northbridge clock (L3-cache clock)
then there are nearly no slowdowns ^^

Whenever I go to the Chao Garden, the text isn't displaying properly. The Safe Texture Cache hack fixes it.

if you have the original SA2B you shouldn't have problems with the small text bugs

RE: [GC] Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Not sure which build broke it but Sonic Adventure 2 is no longer perfect i would like to see a place where i can post bugs so i can help the dolphin development team.

I noticed it not working properly in build 2746 the things i noticed:

Random crashes.
Music sometimes stops playing after speedup shoes or something is collected.
Wierd camera angles (camera getting to far away from player).
Speeded up dialogue when the characters talk and higher pitched.

RE: [GC] Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
ya i think you are right, it's no longer working perfectly, some of the bugs you mentioned are still there if not all of them.

i wonder if there are specific settings that would solve this problem?

RE: [GC] Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
I've never gotten proper input on SA2B, the input goes very bug-tastic, especially if the game is slowed down due to framerate issues. I don't know if it's a problem with the input plugin or what, but it only seems to play "perfect" when it's actually going fullspeed.

RE: [GC] Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Anyone remember the old GameBoy Advance Sonic game that has a tiny chao garden? Well I bought the Dark Egg for 20,000 rings and I want to transfer it to the big chao garden in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

Anyone know how to do that?
